This project comprised the demolition of a former cinema and the construction of 26 flats and associated site development works.
This town centre development was constructed on a confined site and involved the controlled demolition of a 4 storey cinema building occupying the site footprint.
The scheme closely reflected its surroundings and involved extensive brickwork features to meet with the stringent planning controls. The foundations utilised a bored pile system with ground beams to ensure the integrity of the surrounding dwellings was maintained. Limited storgae space was avaliable both on site and around the site entrance, leading to careful control, coordination and cooperation with adjacent tenants to facilitate material delivery via an operational pertrol filing station.
