This project comprised the design & construction of 2 four bedroom houses, 5 three bedroom houses and a 3 storey block containing 3 two bedroom flats together with communal landscaped areas, external works and drainage.
The site, formally occupied by gas holders was heavily contaminated, requiring careful planning and management to ensure the safe and effective remediation of the site.
The dwellings were constructed using a timber frame solution and incorporated numerous design features to add to the street scene created in this regeneration area. THese included timber boarding, balcony details to the flats and individual colour schemes for each of the properties.
Externally the scheme includes parking facilities, a shared access courtyard, stone boundary walling and the installation of drainage and services.
