This project involved the complete redevelopment and modernisation of an existing caravan site. Works included the demolition of existing accommodation and the removal of roads, landscape features and storage tanks.

The demolition and clearance works were followed by the construction of a new reception block and visitor entrance foyer, two timber framed toilet blocks and public service points, new electrical distribution system, pumped foul drainage system, new roads and landscaping works.

The second phase works involved demolishing and rebuilding an entertainment complex and refurbishment of the swimming pool area. This phase was negotiated during the phase 1 works.

Careful management and coordination ensured that the delicate landscaped environment, critical to the commercial activities of The Caravan Club, remained in good condition and ensured that the facilities opened on schedule.
