This project was conducted in the prestigious Castle Hotel, located in the centre of Taunton. The scheme involved extensive modernisation of bedroom accommodation including the provision of extra bedrooms.
The works also included the formation of the Brazz restaurant and bar, which required the existing Minstrels bar to be extensively renovated on two levels. The restaurant required a very high standard of finish, including specialist lighting installations, mechanical and electrical installations and extensive joinery work.
Due to the restricted nature of the site, the works were confined entirely within the limits of the building, necessitating careful planning and coordination. This included working in close proximity to the castle moat, which is a scheduled monument.
