This project involved the demolition and removal of an electrical sub-station and generation unit, followed by the construction of a two-storey doctors surgery providing approximately 300m2 of floor area. The construction comprised a cavity wall superstructure with a natural stone face, timber windows and natural slate roof, all in accordance with the stringent planning controls within the Exmoor National Park area.

Internally the works included the installation of a lift providing access to first floor level, open ceiling areas above the reception and waiting rooms, extensive joinery features including screens and exposed timber fine linings and the installation of work surfaces and storage facilities within the consulting and examination rooms. Floors were finished with a mix of vinyl flooring and carpeting.

Externally works included the construction of parking facilities, boundary walls, fencing and the provision of play equipment with safety surfacing.
