This project involved the design and construction of a three storey 41 bedroom extension to an existing nursing home, increasing the capacity of the home to provide care for 57 elderly people. The extension will also provide communal lounge and dining facilities, commercial grade kitchen facilities and staff accommodation.
The new building is designed to an extremely high specification both internally and externally, and will have state-of-the-art facilities for both residents and staff.
Carefully coordinated management of the works will ensure that disruption is minimised enabling continual care provision for the residents of the existing home throughout the construction period.
Eastleigh Care Home has since been awarded with a Pinders Health Care design award for 'Best Development Revival Project'.
